With the objective of improving health and work conditions, Caribbsa has committed to comply with Colombian Occupational Health Legislation and any issue related to the performance of activities for people who work on different critical areas. This commitment is reflected in the allocation of the resources needed to implement an occupational health program, so that it provides better work conditions on the frame of comprehensive continuous improvement.
General Objectives of Occupational Health
- To update acquired knowledge about defensive driving, in order to maintain abilities and skills for the performance of messaging activities.
- To educate the office personnel about right postures and habits for daily labors.
- To provide the employees with techniques in order to mitigate fatigue because of prolonged positions or repetitive movements.
- To implement the action plan of COPASST in the Management Health and Security System of the company.
- To acquire abilities for the execution of security inspections, so that the personnel of the company and the manager may be able to perform those kinds of activities in order to monitor the management system.
- To make the personnel aware of the solid waste handling and the obsolete documentation reuse.
- To raise awareness on the importance of knowing and handling the company emergency plan and its role in the global plan of the rest members of the operation.
- To make the personnel aware of the general aspects of risk factors in their different work places.
